This board allows the CSI port on Raspberry Pi to be used as an HDMI capture device, allowing any camera with a HDMI output to be used as a video input to the Pi. It is natively supported by the Raspberry Pi and does not require any extra software to work.
It is ideal for using specialised cameras on drones, where live output and recording to the Pi is required. Live-streaming can be accomplished via the Rpanion-server software.
The capture board uses the Toshiba TC358743XBG chip for capture, supporting up to 1080p resolution at 25 fps.
